The Security options function on a simple notion: select security options then close and re-open the product for the options to take effect.

Open the Security options form via: Switchboard / Home > Security > Administrator options

Diagram 1: open the Security form and enter your password or the default 'pwd'. Note: if you forget the password you will need to reinstall the product.

Diagram 2: after entering the password the options are available.

Diagram 3: restrict access to all Management options. All the options are greyed out.

Diagram 4: restrict specific Management options.

All the options available on the Security form have a brief description. Note the following:

Use Thesaurus: option to either use the Generic Thesaurus which comes with the product. The ThesaurusMD is a seperate product that can be used by your organisation to standardise terminology used by various data capturers.
